Food on Friday: Picnic food

 ON

It may not be picnic weather where you are but there's no harm in thinking about what makes good picnic food.

To add to the collection just pop your name and the name of the dish into the first Mr Linky box and paste the url for your post about it into the second box.  Your post doesn't have to be a recent one.

To make it easier for you to check out the other dishes I will be pinning them to this Board so you can see them at a glance.

And a reminder – previous Food on Fridays are still open for entries – so please add your dishes as you like.  To make sure I pin them to the appropriate board please leave a comment.

  1. Hi, Carole, My ma's sausage bread - #4 - is easy to make and can also be made with the vegetarian ground beef.

  4. Hi, Carole! What a great idea to have a picnic theme - just what I need to cheer me up on this chilly, gray Ohio day! I love so many of our THK summer recipes, but chose four that I think your other readers would love just as much this time of year as they would in the summer! Thanks, as always, for such a fun round-up! I see so many other recipes on the list already that I can't wait to take a peek at! :D

  11. Carole,
Brilliant idea to host a picnic--your side of the world gets ideas for the upcoming season, my side of the world gets to think of warmth and sunshine!
I've linked up sushi, since our family likes to take sushi on picnics and school field trips. I'm also linking up some beet sandwiches (I'd assemble these on site), and sweet-without-sugar Banana Date Pecan muffins.
    Thanks!
