Charles Upham was born on 21 September
1908. He would have been 115 today.
He
was a New Zealand soldier who earned the Victoria Cross twice during WWII. Only 3 people in the Commonwealth have ever
been awarded it twice!
The
Victoria Cross is not a flashy medal – but it is one of the most prized.
