Capital city of the week - Noumea

Noumea

Although an Englishman was the original European settler in Noumea, English is not an official language of the country.

The central city square is translatable to Coconut Square in English.

So where is Noumea?

It is the capital of New Caledonia! (In the Pacific only a couple of hours flight from Auckland)

  1. Well I feel dumb this week, I didn't even know where New Caledonia was until you said. I'm going to look it up now to get a visual. :)

    Have a great week!
