Let it Be was released after the
Beatles had sadly split up – imagine
if they had stayed together like the Stones!
Wikipedia
says that although it is credited to Lennon & McCartney, it was in fact
written by Paul McCartney.
Whatever
the origins of the song, it was just such an instant classic – and why not,
with lyrics like this – dare you to read them without hearing the tune in your
head!
When I find myself in times of trouble Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be
And when the broken hearted people
And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree
There will be an answer, let it be
For though they may be parted
There is still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Yeah there will be an answer, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Let it be, let it be
Love The Beatles and all their songs. This is a wonderful song too. Thanks for sharing. We should more Let it Be in life too. Have a nice week.
