Food on Friday: Plums

ON

We're going all "plummy" for this Food on Friday.

Plums go well with:

Almonds
Apples
Brandy
Brown sugar
Cardamom
Chocolate
Cinnamon
Cloves
Cream
Game birds
Kirsch
Lamb
Marzipan
Nutmeg
Orange zest
Plum brandy
Pork
Rabbit
Red wine
Soft cheeses
Stone fruit
Vanilla
Walnuts

As always, please just link up your plum delights by putting your name and the name of the dish into the first Mr Linky box and copying the url for your post into the second.

Looking forward to seeing all the neat ideas!

PS I will be pinning the links to this Pinboard - which will make it easier for you to choose which links to visit.

  1. Hi Carol, thanks for sending an email on what the feature is. It really helps a lot. I've linked a plum & prosciutto sandwich with goat cheese and fig preserves.

BTW, is there any chance of getting a Mr. Linky that shows the thumbnail photos? They really show off the food well. Just a suggestion...Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks for hosting.

    1. Inlinkz has that option--I learned about them from a link party, and use them for my visual recipe index by farm fresh ingredient. (which, sadly, does not yet include plums--I am becoming aware of my deficiencies and will work on them during Year 2 of the blog!)
