Elvis - Hound Dog

Hound Dog was a hit for Elvis in 1956.  That sure sounds like a long time ago now!

Over 40 million people saw Elvis perform this on the Milton Berle Show – and then controversy exploded.  Statements were made that his energetic youthful movements were "an influence on juvenile delinquency".  The nickname Elvis the Pelvis dates from around this time.

The song did very well considering it started out as a B side!

  1. It is always surprising who makes an impression on our lives.
He is as popular a singer now, as he was when he was alive. He certainly was not, a one hit wonder.
