Books you loved: October edition

Here's the October edition of the monthly link up, Books You Loved.  Just link in your posts about any books you loved – you don't have to have read them recently.  They don't have to be newly issued ones.  It is great to hear about old faves.
Last month we had some fantastic links. The ones I have chosen to showcase this month are:

Fiction

Hidden in Paris by Corine Gantz – thanks to Cathy Michaels Design

Salmon Fishing in the Yemen  - thanks Mum of 3 World

Choral Society by Prue Leith – thanks to Lindy Lou Mac's Book Reviews

Historical fiction

The Queen's Vow by CW Gortnerthanks to Carole Rae's Ramblings and Christies Book Blog

The White Queen by Phillipa Gregorythanks I Solemnly Swear…

Debutantes by Cora Harrison – thank you Fighting Dreamer

Non Fiction

Yes Chef by Marcus Samuelsson – thanks Chocolate and Croissants

Blacklisted from the PTA by Lela Davidson – thanks Aunt Nubby's Kitchen

To link in for this new edition of Books You Loved, just go to the Mr Linky box below and put your name and the name of the book (and author if you like) into the first box and copy the url for your post into the second box.

Have a lovely reading month!
