Brantôme – Le Moulin de L’Abbaye

Le Moulin de L'Abbaye

I was privileged to stay for one night at Le Moulin de L'Abbaye in Brantôme.  Brantôme is a wonderful small town in the Périgord in France (which is part of the Dordogne region).  It is known as the Venice of the Périgord as a result of there being a bunch of canals running through the town.

Brantome

The hotel is right by an old mill which you can hear at night.  It is part of the Relais & Chateau group – so is expensive with good food.  A real treat.
